History

A native of Tampa, Florida, Dr. Ellis is a retired educator of the Hillsborough County School District.
Dr. Ellis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Concord University, a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Cornerstone University,

and a Doctorate from Kingdom Life University in Biblical Studies. He has been married for 48 years to Ann Ellis. They have three children and eight grandchildren.

In addition to being a full-time Senior Pastor at Exalted Word Ministries, he is heavily involved in the community. His community outreach endeavors led to the development and implementation of Believe, Achieve, Maximize International Organization (B.A.M) where Dr. Ellis serves as Founder/CEO.

Dr.Ellis is a spiritual mentor, life coach and motivational speaker; he recently was honored with the Mentor of the Year Award.
Through B.A.M. International, individuals, businesses, organizations, and community leaders have been equipped and empowered to develop their greatest potential.

Dr. Ellis is well-known for his dynamic teaching style and encouraging approach to life. He has ministered all over the world, hosted a B.A.M. International Inc. leadership conference in Toledo City, Philippines empowering over five hundred pastors and leaders in the community.

Dr. Ellis’s most popular book, “B.A.M.-How to Realize Your Greatest Potential in Life” has taken the market by storm. B.A.M has a ranking of five
stars on Amazon. B.A.M has been accredited with motivating a local high school football team to achieve three State Championship victories. Dr. Ellis has presented commentaries in “How to Motivate Youth to Succeed” in the Tampa Tribune, local Catch 47, St. Petersburg Times, and on TBO.com.
